Retargeting

  1. Import Move.ai animation

  2. Import target rig

  3. Group & rotate axis

  4. Create character definition tag

  5. Open manager

  6. Click Extract skeleton

  7. Make sure each joint is assigned to each body part

    1. If not, assign manually (Drag & Drop)

  8. Click Set Reference Pose

  9. Repeat steps 4-8 for target rig

  10. On target rig tag: Click Create Solver

  11. Drag Character Definition tag from move.ai rig to Source Character slot

  12. Click Play to test

    1. To reposition retargeted rig, group all objects and move to desired position To

Export:

  1. Group joint & mesh in target rig

  2. Right click group - Select children

  3. Export selected objects as - fbx

  4. Choose a name & Save
